As the time for the adoption gets closer, it seems harder and harder to pass the time. One of the projects we did was building this tree house. It still has a little work left to be done, but it is close now. We didn't get any pictures at the beginning of our build. Suffice it to say that it was a little crazy. We decided to start the day before a Noreaster was blowing into town. It only took us twelve hours, seven trips to Home Depot and one argument to finish the platform Gabby is sitting on. Not bad for one days work. Hopefully we can get at least twenty years out of it. Both Junie and Gabby should be grown and out of the house by then...I think.

John is out of town, so
Gab and I decide to
start on the walls.
First, Gabby struck a pose.
Then, I left her holding the wall while I got the level.

The second wall went up.

The last wall is in place and supported.

Now all we need is siding.
